Railway Station Masters' Temporarily Halts Strike for Diwali

COLOMB (News 1st); The Railway Station Masters' Union has decided to temporarily suspend their strike action in light of today's Diwali festival celebrations.

The strike, which began yesterday afternoon and continued until 10 PM, was initiated to demand solutions to several issues related to promotions and recruitment. 

The union's president, Sumedha Somaratne, stated that if a satisfactory resolution is not provided by the end of today, the strike will resume tomorrow.
